Suchacz is situated in the southern part of Vistula Lagoon.
Suchacz Light (54°16.9'N, 19°25.5'E) (white framework tower
red bands) is exhibited, at an elevation of 5m, at
the N mole-head. The channel to the harbour is marked
by approach buoy, painted in red and white vertical stripes.
Quayage and berthing facilities
An arc shaped mole comes out into Vistula Lagoon which shielded
the harbour basin. Fishing harbour consists of one basin (55x30m),
because of considerable shoaling was only suitable for small craft
with a draught of 1.0m.

General information:
Suchacz is a small fishing harbour with population of about 650
situated 4 miles SW of Tolkmicko and 7 miles NE of Elbląg. At
present Suchacz is also a summer resort but for centuries fisheries
was here a main occupation. In 1925 local fishermen used 12 sail
fishing boats called barcases.
The fishing basin consists of three quays: Eastern Quay is 57.5m
long with woo-den platform 55.0m alongside the quay, Western Quay
is 55.0m long and Southern Quay is 30.0m long.
